Coffee to Water Ratio (Brewing)

I often get asked, "hey man, how do you make your coffee?" I reply by nerding-out about coffee grams to water ratio, which the "experts" deem the Golden Ratio. Here's a nice explanation: GOLDEN RATIO.

My ratio is a 1 to 16.74. Basically, what I do here is 11 grams of ground coffee per 6 oz of water. Most days, I'm grinding 66 grams of delicious coffee for 36 oz of water in good ol' Mr. Coffee.
